Where do you find inspiration?
I love to browse through home décor magazines. They are full of amazing details and ideas for how to create unique, heartfelt projects. It’s often just one tiny detail on how to use a button in a creative way, or a technique on how to create a flower from ribbon, how to arrange items in your home that are visually appealing….but each idea can be incorporated into card-making and paper-crafting.
Where do you create?
I create right in the middle of the heart of our home….my kitchen. I don’t have a crafting room to call my own, but really don’t mind as it is wonderful to be surrounded by my family. I can create while making dinner, while baking, or while helping with homework, etc.
What is your favorite Glimmer Mist Color or Tattered Angels product?
I love the Glimmer Mist colors Walnut Gold and Olive Vine….they are beautiful, soft, and shabby. I really love the Embossed Chips….it is so fun to transform them into whatever I may need for a project…the embossing is beautiful and rich as well.
What is your favorite Glimmer Mist technique?
Since this was my first time using the Glimmer Mist spray, I wasn’t quite sure where to start. But I decided to try covering my chipboard in white glitter, and then spraying on the Mist spray to see what the outcome would be. I LOVED the results….you can create you own glitter in the shades you need by using these wonderful sprays.
Do you have any favorite ways to use Glimmer Chips, Glass or Screens?
I think these are wonderful tools because they create a background that isn’t bulky but still very beautiful. I chose to create a Daily December album inspired by Ali Edwards, and used these screens on my pages inside the album. They create a beautiful background, full of interest, but I can very easily record my thought directly over them without losing any of that beauty.
