Where do you find inspiration? I love to browse through home décor magazines. They are full of amazing details and ideas for how to create unique, heartfelt projects. It’s often just one tiny detail on how to use a button in a creative way, or a technique on how to create a flower from ribbon, how to arrange items in your home that are visually appealing….but each idea can be incorporated into card-making and paper-crafting.

Designer: Cheryl Mcadam
About: I live in California with my husband David, and my three daughters. I began scrapbooking in 1999 after the birth of my third child. I have been wildly passionate about scrapbooking ever since. I try to do something \"scrappy\" every day. I enjoy teaching scrapbooking classes at my local scrapbook store and at other stores around Southern California. I also enjoy using found objects in my scrapbooking and home decor projects. I like to hunt for unexpected items to use on my projects at flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores and the dollar store. It is such a rush to find something that just calls out to be altered. You will find ribbons, buttons, flowers, bling, and of course Glimmer Mist on almost everything I create. I love to share the joy of Glimmer Mist with others and will demo it to anyone who will give me a minute! I am currently obsessed with creating mini books and altered home decor items right now. I am inspired by the \"personality\" of an item or new line of scrappy supplies. That is usually what guides me in my design choices and techniques. I am overjoyed to be a member of the Tattered Angels Design Team.

Designer: Lauren Ferguson
About: Lauren is a self-taught Mixed Media Artist. She presently lives outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from New Jersey, you can occasionally hear her saying \"Y\'all I need a cup of cau-fee\". She entered the craft world after the birth of her first child. Memory Art, in particular scrapbooking, is where she developed her love for paper. Lauren was introduced to Altered Art and Collage Art very soon thereafter. Still longing to find her niche, she was drawn to the art of bookmaking. It was a natural fit. Her books are full of earthy tones of color and texture. She creates art with her books. All the individual parts that are transformed into a book -- from the covers, to the stitching to the paper chosen to be signatures -- come together to sing a song. Each piece is chosen for the note and the harmony it brings to the music that is made. Lauren has realized her goal of achieving creative freedom and encourages others to find their own. After only a few short months, she realized that her artistic process opened her to a new level of expression. After the birth of twin boys, Lauren decided to walk away from an academic career as an epidemiologist and balance her new found love of life as a Mother and an Artist. As an imaginative craft designer, her work appears in national magazines. Lauren is available to teach classes, develop mixed media projects, and is always looking for special requests and new challenges. \"There are no mistakes in ART, just opportunities to embellish.\" *Personal Statement* If I had to describe myself I would say that I am a right brained woman having extraordinary left brain experiences. For me the devil is in the details. At the present time I am a member of Altered Arts Magazine and Tattered Angels Design Teams. I am a Prima Endorsed Educator. I was a member of the Ranger Design Team in 2007and Quietfire Design Team. I have been teaching Mixed Media Art since 2005. My past teaching experience includes: Altercations in Ann Arbor, MI, T

Designer: Vicki Chrisman
About: Crafty Secrets Card Kits... reveled! lol I’m Vicki Chrisman, I live in Nebraska with my husband and two sons. I have always loved art in many forms, even as a child. Paper, Scissors and glue can always make me happy! I come from a large family, and “family” is very important to me, so when I was first introduced to paper arts through scrapbooking over 15 years ago, I knew that this mix of family and art, was a perfect fit for me. I was hooked! Altering has opened up a whole new creative world to me, and has quickly become one of my most favorite art forms. I also love sharing my passion for paper crafting with others through teaching. I’m thrilled to design for Tattered Angels and, excited to being a part of this creative team of designers.

Designer: Michelle Jackson / Creative Dire
About: I live in Northern Colorado with my husband Mark and my two children. I have always been “crafty” using many mediums, but enjoy the texture of working with paper and all of the fun embellishments, the most. My style is mostly vintage, the “comfort food” of crafts, but I’m inspired to try some of the new ideas I see from this amazing design team and Tattered Angels educators. I particularly enjoy working with Wendy Senger, the owner of Tattered Angels, and creator of Glimmer Mist, in designing the new product. I never imagined that my passion for art and crafting would place me here!
